Terrible Times are Coming

So many preach that things are going to get better! The problem is the Word says things will get worse. I believe we are on the verge of the Lord’s return and we are seeing persecution dramatically increase. The world is becoming not increasingly anti- god, but antichristian. The attacks are rising against core Christian beliefs. Wake up and smell the coffee. Maria Woodworth Etter wrote…

Terrible times are coming even to this land. Everything will be shaken except the people of God who are hidden in the secret place of the Most High.”

We are in a reprieve right now and we better realize the time is fast running out. Now is the time for us to stand up and be a voice of righteousness! Now we must be the salt and light we are called to be. This generation does not know Jesus and they have forgotten “Joseph” or all that God has done.  The leaders of the previous moves have been promoted to heaven.

It is time!  We must blow a trumpet in the church or in Zion and sound an alarm on His holy mountain. I sometimes think God has a sense of humor and allowing Trump to become president at such a time. We are eagerly awaiting the last ‘trump!” Is God trying to get our attention! I believe He is.

We can stand by out of fear of persecution and watch a generation be lost and then see persecution come anyway. Plus, we will stand accountable before the Throne. Or we can humble ourselves and we can return to the Most High.

Where do you dwell? Where do you reside? We are citizens of Heaven and our place of residence must be in the Secret Place. If you abide in the Secret Place then you will see the burden on the heart of the Father. You will see Him so move by a generation the enemy thinks he can steal.

Christianity has endured the worst of persecution and no matter what the enemy has thrown at us we have overcome because we are built upon Jesus the Rock.

Saudi Arabia is about to open the real Mount Sinai. Yes the altar where they offer the golden calf is there. The mountain still back from the fire remains. The rock split and the dry waterbed still stand and challenge us today. You can walk where once the Children of Israel walked. You can enter the cave where Elijah hid and see the altar built by Moses. Imagine standing where once the fire by night raged and the clouds by day overshadowed!

I have been in such wildernesses and I think how could you survive? You can’t! But God! He was with them and He kept them and today the evidence hidden through times now stands as a memorial to us. That same God Who kept the Children of Israel and delivered them through power, brought forth Jesus and raised Him from the dead. That same God calls to us today and says, “I AM.” The great I AM is still able and wants this generation to know He is the Almighty God and the Only One Who saves.

Will we fear the call this time to go up the mountain and meet with Him? Or will we press in to go into the Secret Place and be hidden in Him?

I think about Moses and seeing a mountain on fire and being called to come. His flesh must have protested but the Spirit said “come!”

We must return to Him and be found in Him. Now is the time for us to lay aside the old and allow the flesh or old man to finally be consumed in His holy fire. Revival must start with us. Revival can start today! Will we not just return unto Him in absolute surrender? Will we not return to the Word and receiving I not as a book but His actual Word become hearers and doers of it?

In the Secret Place we will see Him and become like Him. His love like the most powerful radiation will change us from the inside out until we are just like Him.

“Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water…”

Hebrews 10: 19-22

Throughout the Book of Hebrews, the writer draws our attention to the time the Children of Israel were in the wilderness and brings us a warning that we should not fall into the same unbelief. Today, the evidence of that times stand before us challenging us and calling us to remember!

“Now the God of peace, Who brought you up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen!
